The Achieve Desk Registered Apprenticeship Pathway is a structured earn-and-learn model designed to develop job-ready apprentices through a combination of supervised work-based learning and structured training.

Refund Policy

Achieve Desk is committed to providing apprentices with clear, consistent information about tuition payments, self-payment, cancellations, withdrawals, refunds, and workforce-funded training. Our Registered Apprenticeship Programs are administered in accordance with our approved Standards of Apprenticeship and applicable U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship requirements: U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Regulations (29 CFR Part 29)
Self-Paying Apprentices
Apprentices may be permitted to personally pay applicable training or Related Instruction costs when those costs are not being paid through an employer, scholarship, grant, or another approved funding source. Self-payment does not replace or modify the requirements of the Registered Apprenticeship Program or the apprentice's applicable Apprenticeship Agreement.
Before accepting self-payment, Achieve Desk will provide the apprentice with written information regarding the applicable training or Related Instruction cost, payment schedule, included and excluded expenses, credential or examination costs, applicable third-party expenses, cancellation and withdrawal procedures, and refund terms.
Cancellation Before Training Begins
If a self-paying apprentice cancels before the applicable paid training or Related Instruction begins, Achieve Desk will refund 100% of tuition paid to Achieve Desk for training that has not been provided, less only a separately disclosed third-party expense that has already been incurred and cannot be recovered.
This refund methodology is an Achieve Desk policy. The federal Registered Apprenticeship regulations establish standards governing Registered Apprenticeship Programs but do not establish a universal percentage-based tuition refund schedule for Registered Apprenticeship sponsors: U.S. Department of Labor 29 CFR Part 29
Withdrawal After Training Begins
If a self-paying apprentice withdraws after paid training has begun, Achieve Desk will determine the amount of training or Related Instruction actually provided through the apprentice's official withdrawal date.
Achieve Desk will calculate the applicable refund based on the unused portion of tuition paid for training that has not been delivered.
Refund Calculation
Amount Paid − Earned Training Charges − Eligible Nonrefundable Third-Party Costs = Refund Due
The apprentice's withdrawal date, training participation or progress, applicable charges, amount paid, and final refund calculation will be documented by Achieve Desk.
The federal Registered Apprenticeship framework places responsibility for the administration and operation of a Registered Apprenticeship Program with the program sponsor. Achieve Desk therefore maintains its written refund procedures as part of its program administration.
Credential, Examination & Third-Party Costs
Credential examinations, certification vouchers, licenses, books, materials, software, and other third-party expenses may be considered nonrefundable when the expense was clearly disclosed to the apprentice and Achieve Desk has already incurred the expense and cannot recover the payment from the third-party provider.
An unused or recoverable third-party charge will not automatically be retained solely because an apprentice withdraws from training.

Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be calculated and processed following determination of the apprentice's official withdrawal date and reconciliation of training, tuition, and eligible third-party costs.
Achieve Desk will maintain documentation supporting the calculation and disposition of each refund, including the applicable payment source.
For workforce-funded apprentices, Achieve Desk will also comply with the applicable funding authorization and workforce agency requirements: Apprenticeship.gov Registered Apprenticeship Sponsors
Important Information About Self-Payment
Accordingly, where permitted under the applicable Achieve Desk program structure and Apprenticeship Agreement, an apprentice may use an approved self-payment arrangement when another funding source is not paying the applicable training or Related Instruction costs: Apprenticeship.gov Costs & Funding for Registered Apprenticeship
